Stuart Rivers, RIP

It's very sad to annouce that Stuart Rivers, a valued & inspirational member of the History of Deganwy group passed away suddenly yesterday morning.

Ifor (the group's secretary) and I visted Stuart and Elan's home in Glanwydden this morning and spoke with their daughter and passed on our and the History Group's deepest sympathies.

Stuart, 69, is very well known in the area and was a regular visitor to the Archives in Lloyd Street, Llandudno. Stuart was a member of several groups and very passionate about conserving and studing the history of the local area. Being a member of the Llandudno Historical Society and more recently as a member of the History of Deganwy Group he has done a great deal of work for the local area.
